Mr. Bean, developed by Rowan Atkinson at University based on the character described as "a child in a grown man's body". The series followed the exploits of Mr. Bean in solving the various problems presented by every day tasks. The title character, played by Rowan Atkinson, is a slow-witted, some times ingenious, selfish and generally likable buffoon who brings unusual schemes and connivances to everyday tasks.

He lives alone in a small flat in Highbury, North London. He rarely speaks, and when he does, it is generally only few mumbled words which are in a comically low-pitched voice. Mr. Bean seems unaware of basic aspects of the way the world works. Humor largely comes from his original solutions to problems and his total disregard for others while solving them.
